Tonight, Gaming Gives hosted their first official Online Tournament after taking a break for their Summer LAN Events. With new website infrastructure, a supportive staff, and an awesome fan base we are hoping to continue Online Events on many consoles and many games.
In tonight's round robin tournament, the stream witnessed some great, old-fashioned, standard dubs SND. After watching four matches and having some fun in some pickup games with players our victors were clear! Team Thy Gods took a 3-0 victory in the round robin tournament. Thy God player Exzires The God gave an excellent example of how to play on Breach, dropping 10 kills in their 6-2 victory against Forum Esports. Great job tonight to Team Thy Gods consisting of Knightt (@Knlghtt) and Exzires The God (@exzrs) be sure to give them a follow on Twitter! Thanks to everyone who came out and played tonight! Here is a highlight reel from the stream!
The full stream can be found HERE for the next few days.

Gaming Gives: The Merge
Hello, my new players, you all do not know me or my staff at the moment and some may even be hesitant of this merge. I assure you though this was done with you all, the players, in mind. My name is Evan and I am the owner/operator of Gaming Gives Events. I started Gaming Gives two years ago with some friends as more of a dream than a reality. Now two years and 10 LAN Events later I can honestly say this is one of the most amazing experiences I have had in my life. Now enough with the mushy stuff. Here is the plan, at Gaming Gives we mainly focus on bringing players LAN events. These, however, are not your typical LAN events. We take pride in bringing players in the Midwest high-quality, professional like tournaments to casual and competitive gamers alike. Our events are streamed, casted, staffed, and played on stage and under the spotlights in a theatre. Except our uniqueness does not end there. We also donate most of the proceeds to charities. Now when I say most I am saying in 2015 we donated 95% of what we brought in to Easter Seals Disability Services. That means we ran all of 2015 on only 5% expenses. We do this through our amazing staff of 11 talented, hardworking individuals that have the same passion: Video Games and Charities. So I hope you all stick around and enjoy the fun we are bringing you. PYT is sticking around and will be our Online Events Coordinator. I have put my trust in him to keep running amazing events and I hope with the addition of myself and my staff his events will only get better. I look forward to you all switching to the #GreatnessSquad as we look to raise money to help children. If you're not playing for yourself or your team #DoItForTheKids because that is why I am here. Thanks guys, if you need to be in contact with me about anything; whether it be ideas you have, questions or concerns, feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
